Turn on the table bill for the tables where it makes sense. Other tables order and pay on their phones as usual.
Order via digital menu
Guests order from their own phones all evening and put everything on the table’s bill. Orders reach the kitchen with the table number, and you take payment in one go at the end, just like you always do.
Guests scan the QR code on the table. No app and no account.When several people at a table order within a few minutes, heywaitr puts their orders on one ticket. Identical items are added together, and everyone’s name is on the ticket. The kitchen gets one clear overview instead of a pile of small tickets.
The ticket waits up to about 5 minutes so orders from the same table can join it. A later round gets its own ticket. It works for every dine‑in order with a table number, including orders paid straight away.
Guests scan the QR code on the table and order from your menu in their phone’s browser. At the tables you choose, the last step is “Add to table bill & order now”. No money is taken.
We switch on the table bill and combined tickets for you. After that, you pick the tables and times yourselves in the table list.

The order goes to the kitchen like any other table order, but no money is taken on the phone. Guests pay you when the bill is settled.
If you use OnlinePOS, every order lands on the table in the till as unpaid. Staff open the table and make the bill from there.
With combined tickets, “4x Draft beer” appears once instead of on four tickets.
Orders on the table bill are marked “Park On Table” with the payment type “Pay later”, so staff can see they belong on the bill.

Yes. At tables without the table bill, and outside a table’s weekly schedule, guests pay on their phones as usual. At a table-bill table, guests simply put their order on the bill.
No. Each guest sees and follows their own order. You make the full bill when the table is done.
