Several ticket types
Each type has its own price and its own quantity: seated and standing, adult and child, early bird and regular.
Sell tickets for the concert, the quiz night or the wine tasting on your own heywaitr ordering page. The guest pays and has the ticket with a QR code on screen straight away. At the door, you scan it with an ordinary phone.
No app to download, for the guest or for you at the doorEvery ticket is counted the moment the guest buys it. When the last ones are gone, nobody can buy more. And at the door, each ticket can only be used once.
An example with fictional numbers. You set the number per ticket type and can put a total cap on the whole event. You add or remove places with plus and minus, even in the middle of the sale.
The guest taps “Tickets” on your ordering page, picks the event and the number of tickets, and pays in the same payment window as your other heywaitr orders. The ticket is ready straight away, and it can be opened again from the link.
The examples show a Danish venue. The guest’s ticket pages are currently in Danish.
Your staff sign in to heywaitr’s staff tool in the phone’s browser and scan the QR code with the camera. If the camera won’t focus, they type the 8-character code. It has no characters that look alike, so it is easy to read aloud.
The staff tool is in English.
You create the event in heywaitr admin with date, image, description and ticket types. It goes on sale when you publish it, or at the time you choose.
Each type has its own price and its own quantity: seated and standing, adult and child, early bird and regular.
Set the price to 0 and guests sign up without paying. They still get a ticket with a QR code, and it counts towards the total.
Choose when sales open. You can set a closing time too; otherwise sales stop when the event begins.
If tickets are going fast, add more places with plus. Tickets sold in the meantime are not lost.
Set a total cap that the ticket types share, and decide how many tickets a guest can buy at a time.
Ask about allergies, a team name or a company name. The answer appears on the attendee list and on screen at the door.
Door time, what is included, where to go in. If you edit the text, guests who already have a ticket see the new version on their ticket.
See the tickets sold per event, filter by status, and download the list for Excel with names, phone numbers and answers.
If a guest can’t make it, you cancel the ticket, with or without a refund. The QR code stops working, and the place can be sold again.
Four examples of how a venue like Havnebaren could use Ticketing.
60 seated tickets at 175 kr and 30 standing at 125 kr. At most 6 tickets per purchase, and sales close when the concert begins. At the door, the bartender scans the tickets with their phone.
Guests answer “Allergies?” when they buy. The answers are on the attendee list, so the kitchen can make snacks that suit everyone. The sommelier downloads the list as CSV.
20 teams can sign up, and the team name is required. The guest signs up and gets a ticket with a QR code without paying. So you know exactly how many teams have signed up.
Adult and child under 12 at separate prices, with sales opening on 1 October at 10:00. When places start running out, the venue adds 10 more with plus, in the middle of the sale.
Theatre or music venue? Combine Ticketing with Interval ordering, so guests can also order food and drinks for the interval. They are two separate purchases.
Ticketing is an add-on to your heywaitr subscription. We switch it on for you and agree the price when we talk.
